    windshield wipers

Just recently I staeted to have issues with the wipers coming on (with car running) for no apparent reason. Then the washers started squirting whenever also. So ordered a new multi function switch(standard model #CBS1188) and installed it. Still doing the same thing. any Ideas??

Maybe a pinched wire down or around the steering column.

Time to check the wires..........gotta be my least favorite thing. 3 sets of wires attach to MFS,any idea which plug group is the most responsible?

Well its all back together now. Have to wait and see what happens. Did look inside wiper motor while I had it apart, that circuit board was cruddy about 1/3 up. Cleaned it off with electrical contact cleaner.Dried it with air. slapped it back together.

For 2 days it still acted up. Day 3 and it seems to be functioning normally.Perhaps circuit board needed more time to dry. Was going to order new wiper motor..... glad I waited.
