A Different Headlight Problem

Definitely do a headlight relay mod. If it doesn't fix the problem, you'll know where the problem isn't, and it's a good upgrade to do even if you aren't having problems.You could modify the install some to use the wires you have that still work as needed.

Does that mod work with high beams only and would it work with mine with the wig-wags still hooked up?

You'd have to do a modified version for it to work with wig-wags, but it works for hi and lo beams. In the standard configuration, one relay powers the low-beams, and a second relay powers the high-beams. In a modified install for wig-wags, one relay powers the low-beams, and a second and third relay are used to power the left and right high-beams separately. I swear I'll make a diagram and some pictures and stuff one of these days.
