Here is your guide to interpreting universal Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs). All vehicle information applies to 1982 - present models only. For previous model year VIN information, check sources at your dealership. Universal Vehicle Identification Numbers have 17 "positions." There is a number or letter in each position.
To use this utility, simply enter in a vehicle's VIN in the box. Once the VIN has been entered, click the Submit button, and a response page will appear with that particular vehicle's VIN information.
