In order to improve the viewing pleasure of our members, we have decided to implement some restrictions on signature and avatar size. Your full cooperation is anticipated.

Signatures:

• Signatures may contain up to five lines of text (of small or normal size) and/or one image of no more than 125px high, 600px wide and 100kb in size. No more than one image is to be used. Thumbnails linking to larger sized images, or other information, are encouraged.

• Text sizes should be between 9 and 12 (small and normal). Text in signatures is subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to decency, warez, emoticons, etc. Your signature may contain no more than 5 lines of text.

• Links are permitted in signatures. Such links may be made to non-commercial ventures, such as a personal homepage. Links are included within the text and image limits above. No links to offensive sites, or commercial sites, spam sites are allowed, and will be removed.

• Certain privileges may be granted to paid sponsors which may waive some of the restrictions listed above.

• Users abusing these rules will be warned. Corrective action must be taken within 24 hours of notification (via PM) or the signature will be removed. Repeat offenders will be dealt with on an individual basis and may include disciplinary action.

Avatars:

• Users are permitted to utilize a gallery avatar or to link to one of their own. User defined avatars are to be no larger than 150 pixels wide by 150 pixels tall, 100kb in size and contain no image which attempts to portray the user as having an official status here (e.g. mimicking ranks or copying avatars of moderators), and have a consistently high availability (i.e. links to images on slow servers or those prone to failure may be removed).

• Avatars are subject to the same conditions as signatures with respect to decency, etc.

• Users abusing these rules will be warned and/or may lose their avatar privileges. Corrective action must be taken within 24 hours of notification (via PM) or the signature will be removed. Repeat offenders will be dealt with on an individual basis and may include disciplinary action.



How do I upload my Avatar or Signature?

• First you must choose an image that does not exceed the standards set above.

• Then you must choose a image hosting site (i.e) [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and upload your avatar/signature.

• Once your image is uploaded, the hosting site will give you a "Direct URL" to your newly uploaded picture. Copy that URL.

• Return to p71owers.com and log in. Then you must click "Settings" in the upper right hand corner of the site.

• On the left hand side under "My Settings" you will see "Edit my Avatar" or "Edit my Signature". Click whichever one you're doing.

• Under "Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website:"

• Paste the Direct URL you got from the image hosting site. Then click "Save Changes".
