    Steelie question

Is there any real distinct disadvantages running a pre 02 P71 16X7 18-hole steelie wheel on a 03 P71 (other than the tires sticking out farther)?

Hopefully someone can answer this quickly as I need to move on this
    soon.

    Thanks!

    Re: Steelie question

Sorry I'm so late responding, but I just signed up. There might be a clearance problem running a wheel that protrudes from under the wheel well.
I have a set of four stock police wheels from a 2006 model in the basement.

The question you posed was if there were any disadvantages OTHER THAN the tires sticking out farther. I replied that there may be clearance problems, which is a disadvantage OTHER THAN just sticking out farther.
I hope that clarifies my intent.
The part about having a set in the basement was in case you needed a set that will not protrude.

Dennis are the 2006 wheels 16 or 17 inch? I could use a set of 16s to mount my old RSAs on just to burn off whats left on them.

    Its as clear as mud.

Isn't sticking out farther and clearance problems the same thing?

    So this helped me how?
