Get the Older Generation Vic Owners on board.

My father has always been a performance-oreinted type of man. I remember his '62, '65 Catalinas; his '66 GTO, '68 Catalina, '72 455 Bonneville, '76 Grand Prix, & his 280Z. He then went to his '84 Marquis, '88 Crown Vic, and now his '00 Marquis. He has the dual exhaust, the limited slip rear and whatever was closest to the "trailer-tow-package", that they offered. My Dad wanted good power. Maybe his diff. will work with my '04 Interceptor .....

You can not simply bolt in a 2002 or earlier axle assembly in your '04. What you could do is pull the Traction Lok diff out of the housing and swap it into yours. Just for general trivia sake, Ford discontinued the trailer tow package on CV/GM cars prior to 1998.
