    Trying To Save Gas.

What other parts, besides a K&N cold air intake, will help me save as much gas as possible.I will be getting a proper tune up soon,so any suggestions will be recommended?

A wood block under the gas peddle works wonders in fuel consumption. LOL

Your right foot is the best gas-saving accessory: Slow down gradually to a stop, then accelerate away smoothly. Other than that, less restrictive intake and exhaust, a proper tune-up, good oil, good gasoline, and proper tire pressure will help noticeably.
    Good luck!

I just filled the '06 P71 up today....over 19 mpg back and forth to work; about 50/50 highway/city....not too bad, especially considering the speed contests I get into with the dipsticks in the Hemi Rams.....most of 'em will back off at about 90!

Intake, power chips, exhaust, and also use lucas fuel injector cleaner. I use on my interceptor all the time and it will definitely increase your gas mileage by cleaning out your injectors. Again replace the plastic intake manifold with an aluminum one and a low temp thermostat. This will keep your motor running cooler and smoother which will help your gas mileage. Just like what everyone else is telling you, SLOW DOWN!!!! I know the p71 are fun to roll at high speeds and the gas stations appreciate you doing that to! I only use the power here and there or when I actually need it. Other than that, brake and accelerate over longer distances for better gas economy.

I'd reconsider that thermostat suggestion. These modern engines and their associated sensors are set to work at specific temps.

I dont think a bigger/better air intake would save gas. More air intake=more fuel burned=more power made.

2003 P71: Totaled, parted out, scrapped.

2003 P71: 5.4L swap, exhaust, dyno tune, stuff.

    2002 P71: Stock.
