    Tire pressure

    Just purchased an 03 crown vic with 225/60R16's the tire says max air pres 44lbs and they have about 35 in them now what would be optimal?

    What's the min? I would think between the middle would be nice. Do you have an 03 or an 04? In your Intro post you stated it was an 04.

    Its an 03. my bad..... I didnt see a minimum pressure.

    Check the sticker on the door or door post for the correct tire pressure with the tires that came on it ( or like tires). The tires that came on it are Goodyear RSA or RSA+ and are V rated tires.

    on my 05, the pressure label is on the fuel door...says 35psi front & rear....

    i have no clue what mine says i have 32 in mine but may bump it up but i run 32 in almost all car and truck tires

    I have always run 35 psi when max rating 35...seems to perform and get optimal mpg with that pressure.
